Efter ungefär 20 dagar sedan protesterna drog igång förbjuds nu folk från att befinna sig på Taksimtorget och Geziparken, vad jag förstår. Regeringen tömde torg och park, och efter några timmar öppnades platserna igen för offentligheten med varningen att alla som protesterar kommer att stämplas som terrorister. Igår började folk på sociala medier snacka om att en kille stod på torget och tittade på den turkiska flaggan. Detta pågick i minst 6 timmar och flera andra ställde sig bredvid honom och gjorde samma sak. Han kallas för Duran Adam, vilket betyder "den stående mannen" tydligen. Folk sågs lägga vattenflaskor och mat i mannens väska som låg bredvid, och flera av de som ställde sig där, blev arresterade, läser jag på reddit. Manifestationen har nu spridit sig, och folk har helt enkelt bara ställt sig på viktiga platser där människor dödats, exempelvis, iprotesterna den senaste tiden. #... more »

Jag hävdar att det är Ullenhagen och Hamilton som ljuger, alt. inte kan förstå sig på och tolka statistik korrekt. Tar man sig en titt på nedanstående diagram så kan nog vilken kotte som helst utläsa att det har blivit betydligt fler av både extremt fattiga (nollinkomsttagare) och onödigt rika (höginkomsttagare). Man ser även att den tidigare medelklassen smetats ut och några få har fått det bättre på den stora massans bekostnad. Den "relativa fattigdomen” har helt klart ökat.

Säkert bara jag nu..
men jag ser inte "jämställdheten" i den här festivalen.. Hur jämställt är det egentligen med en festival där den övervägande majoriteten av artisterna är kvinnor?

Det är möjligt att jag är ute och cyklar liten trehjuling, men är inte artisteri och musik ändå en av de kanske mest jämställda yrkena/sysselsättningarna? Personligen lägger jag mycket tyngre vikt vid en artists förmåga att producera musik än vid dennes kön.

Feminism för mig handlar om lika förutsättningar och villkor, inte att kvinnor/män prompt ska få synas/höras mest.

Inte allt för smickrande läsning, man undrar hur många människor som dött eller skadats av ett svensktillverkat vapen. Ska vi kunna stå och slå oss för bröstet och säga att vi är en fredlig nation så kan vi inte fortsätta att deala vapen till höger o vänster..

Greek Ex. prime minister George Papandreou Talks about a European democracy without borders, where the European people have the power to actually elect a EU-president. Where the internet can help serve as a meeting place for citizens to discuss, deliberate and vote on public issues.

Papandreou has taken a lot of crap over the years, especially from his own people, with 77% of the people saying they had no faith in his ability to solve the crisis, as reported in late 2011. This after a plan to hold a referendum in Greece over the EU bailouts were scrapped by his government.

Ni vann nog just min röst i riksdagsvalet. Brukar rösta "taktiskt" på ett par-tre olika partier i kommunal, landstings eller riksdagsvalet.. ni kan ju gissa vilka..

Men eftersom V nu tydligen inte vill samarbeta med mina andra "favoriter" så hoppas jag att ni är öppna för ett samarbete! jag vill se en Röd-grön-lila regering med fokus på innovation, teknologi, medicin, infrastruktur, kollektivtrafik, personlig integritet, s.k. "medborgarlön", samt skola, vård och omsorg utan privata vinster.

The #eCall system automatically dials 112 - Europe's single emergency number - in the event of a serious accident.
