Let me start by saying I was torn about doing this. Lots of people share circles on Google+ because ...Let me start by saying I was torn about doing this. Lots of people share circles on Google+ because it's a great way to let others find interesting and cool people that they may not otherwise find. Hell a lot of you are in my circles because of +Wil Wheaton and his lust for homebrewing. It's also kind of a shout-out to let people know you think they're awesome enough to introduce to others.
That's how I view circle sharing at least. The problem I have with it is sometimes people share circles with literally hundreds of people in them. No offense but if I learned anything from the whole Wheaton fiasco it's that sorting through hundreds and hundreds of people to figure out who should be in which circle and who should be even circled...sucks. I'd literally rather get a bikini wax than go through that again.
Which brings me to my circle you see below. Just 40 people. It's a small number. A manageable number. These 40 people represent the people that I interact most with on a daily basis. They make me laugh. They give me great ideas to make other people laugh. They post interesting, thought-provoking things. Some are business people. Some are perverts (you know who you are). Almost all are nerds.
If you're in this circle it's because you circled me either accidentally, in a drunken stupor, due to pressure from others, or some other reason. You are one of the reasons I come to Google+. You are awesome.
If you're not in this circle but still have me circled, you're still awesome. I just haven't gotten the chance to get to know precisely how awesome yet. Someday hopefully. :)
