Luego de una larga pausa (si es que alguien, a excepción de +Mabel Goni, lo extrañó), vuelvo con la música sabatina. Esta vez con un estupendo dueto: Israel "Cachao" López (quienes muchos le atribuyen la creación del mambo) y el recién fallecido Bebo Valdés interpretando el son bolero Lágrimas Negras (1925) del compositor Miguel Matamoros.

Day 3 of the "Self-portrait with easel" study. I will probably have a better photo of this stage by tomorrow, but still..
The light blues are nearly where they should be; I think just a few things here and there, and this study will be complete.
There is a really funny thing about Chagall's self-portrait that you don't really notice unless you look very closely: while his more visible eye obviously looks at his subject matter, the other eye, the one in the shadow, looks at his canvas. I didn't quite do that in the study, and I am not sure I will...
