Hello G+. It's been a while. I'm going to be making a real effort to get back into posting here though.

I'm currently dealing with a lot of hate and fighting on my business fb page in response to a post we made there today. The post was meant to be light hearted, even funny. It somehow managed to get picked up and reprinted by 2 local news outlets and this has brought a shit storm of hatred and bigotry down on us and our customers from people who have, for the most part, never even heard of us before.

I am shocked, seriously shocked, by the sort of things some of these folks have posted. And it goes both ways, as some of those trying to defend us have been equally ugly in their word choices.

I know, I know, it's the Internet and these things happen. But I sincerely feel that the community here on G+ would not have been so rash, so harsh, so judgmental.... more »
