I would think that no one in here has been hit. Have you seen anyone that has? Know of any names that have seen traffic plummet. I know Credit Loan dot com has been emailing me like crazy so they may be one of the ones in the finance industry. After a round of golf I may do some research.

Here are my recommended dos and don'ts for Google+. These are aimed mostly at inexperienced users, and the dos on the list are merely suggestions. However, the don'ts on the list are things that I really wish people wouldn't do.
1. Do +1 other people's posts if you like them.
If someone posts something you like, you should give it a +1 (or a reshare or comment if appropriate). This way, you will encourage the poster to keep posting.
2. Do +1 interesting comments in your own stream.
If someone leaves a detailed or otherwise interesting comment on one of your posts, you should give it a +1. That will encourage the commenter to keep engaging with your posts. A common reason I stop following someone's stream is that they never react to my comments.
3. Do thank people for sharing you in a public circle.

This Bill Is Important
As someone in the building industry, who has had spec lines of credit cut in half, and am stuck with one bank, I know this is hurting the industry. We can't get development money anymore from banks, most banks won't touch new construction lines. Something needs to change or all that will be left in this country will be the super sized builders that can fund themselves.
New home construction is one of the vital parts of our economy, banking and regulations are strangling it right now!

Home Price Rise Continues To Pick Up Speed
The S&P Case-Shiller index of home prices in 20 major markets posted a 9.3% rise over the last 12 months. That's up from the 8.1% rise in January. It was the biggest 12-month gain in the index since May 2006, which was just one month after the index showed record-high home prices.

What do you think? Are we headed to another bubble that will bust? Is it healthy and accurate rises? I like to hope so. So much of our economy ties into the home building, real estate markets.

The best kind of post for our community
You've probably seen the moderators challenging posters to provide more context, detail, etc. in their posts. There's a reason for that: it improves the chance that your post will get comments, click-throughs, and maybe even new followers.
So, here are some tips based on my observations, both here and in at least a dozen other quality communities in which I participate (or run):
Assume we aren't going to click on your link.
It will challenge you to make your point in the post itself, and really think about why you're posting it in the first place.
Posts without links, photos and videos attached definitely get better engagement.
That's because there is no crutch of support material on which to lean...you're forced to make your point in your post, and it usually pays off.
