Hello Friends,
I need a little help.
I'm working to prepare for the May 21, 2013 launch of the third book in my Henry Wood Detective series.
One of the important components of the launch will be putting book 2, Henry Wood: Time & Again on a KDP Select Free days. To make it successful, I'll need to submit it to the sites who promote such days.
To submit it to those sites, I'll need, in most cases, some reviews. So, this is where I need your help.
If anyone out there is interested in reading Henry Wood: Time and Again (68,658 words), the second book in the series, and is willing to do it in the next week, I'll be happy to give you the Kindle version for free, now. The point being, I'll also need you to post a review, too.

I've seen the longer version a few times in various places today - but this is the general gist of it and this is all I really want to say. Just feeling pretty sober about things, but this is my take away.
The good outnumber you and we always will.

Today is the (last) day.
Emerald City Blues, my latest work, is free through TODAY. It's an Urban Fantasy story, inspired by hardboiled detective novels like The Maltese Falcon and shaded with the gritty contrasts of Film Noir. And it's currently ranked #3 in Amazon's Hardboiled and #6 in Amazon's Paranormal category. The reviews are glowing. Take a look!
Maddie Sheehan, a struggling private eye in 1930's Seattle, is busily ruining her liver when an old friend comes calling with a problem. That problem might just be her last case. Soon she is careening from disaster to disaster, always one step behind and ten steps below her adversaries. To solve it, she will have to call on rusty arcane skills she learned a decade before - but even Old World magic might not be enough to save her from inevitable betrayal.
Emerald City Blues is sharp,... more »

At this very moment, my Urban Fantasy ebook EMERALD CITY BLUES (http://amzn.to/Z96eAH) is the #6 ranked book in Paranormal on Amazon (US), and #7 in Hardboiled.
I was about to faint over that. Then I noticed that my novella FULL FATHOM FIVE (http://amzn.to/SqSvgX) is #3 in both Steampunk AND Alternative History.
Jaw, meet floor.
I didn't do this. YOU DID. By downloading these books, by sharing the word with others, YOU pushed both of these two books into the top ten in all four of their respective Amazon (US) categories.
I never dreamed they would be so successful. You have given me an amazing gift, and I am simultaneously humbled and thrilled. I feel like the Little Indie Author Who Could. Thanks are not sufficient - but thank you all. This is inexpressibly wonderful. Thank you - and please, keep it going! Both books remain free through... more »

Today is the day.
Emerald City Blues, my latest work, is free today through Saturday. It's an Urban Fantasy story, inspired by hardboiled detective novels and colored with the shades of Film Noir.
Maddie Sheehan, a struggling private eye, is busily ruining her liver when an old friend comes calling with a problem. That problem might just be her last case. Soon she is careening from disaster to disaster, always one step behind and ten steps below her adversary. To solve it, she will have to call on skills she learned a decade before - but even magic might not be enough to save her skin.
It's sharp, it's snarky, and it's filled with characters you'll want to meet again and again. Emerald City Blues - download it today, reshare it with your friends, write a review - but most of all, enjoy!
