June 11, a large Navy drone crashed in Maryland. It was a Broad Area Maritime Surveillance-Demonstrator, or BAMS-D, which is a maritime equivalent of the Air Force’s RQ-4A Global Hawk.  The news media, at the time, was not able to find out much information. But a Freedom of Information Request by C4ISR Journal got specifics about the Navy investigation, and what they found has filtered into news stories early in 2013. The cause of the accident was found to be mechanical — a faulty actuator for the UAV’s ruddervator, a combination rudder and elevator, common in V-shaped tails.  Although the drone was the property of the US Navy, it was being operated by civilian contractors working for Northrop Grumman, the UAV’s manufacturer. Sticky Clicking: Hangouts On Air User Guide
Yes "blue boxing" actually has an official name. "Sticky Clicking" is when you click on the thumbnail so that thumbnail is main stage in the big box. All sorts of other gems in here for people who want to host Hangouts. Thanks to +Dan Weil for finding this. A must read for anyone doing Hangouts.
