New post-tornado satellite imagery of Oklahoma

We  have post-tornado imagery ready for you to use in your Oklahoma coverage. Follow the links below to both view before and after imagery in Google Earth using the provided KMLs and access a gallery of before and after stills. Note: Before imagery should be credited to Google/Astrium, collected April 29, 2013. After imagery should be credited to Google/DigitalGlobe, collected May 22, 2013.

The Crisis Response team is collaborating on a crisis map with Fabrice Recalt for Cyclone Mahasen. The map shows the storm's path, shelter locations in Bangladesh, flooded areas, rainfall levels and cloud imagery. The team will be adding updates as it collects more information. Tracking Climate Change News in the U.S.

Internews’ Earth Journalism Network (EJN) has just launched Climate Commons, an interactive map that displays the latest data and stories on the causes and impact of climate change around the United States. Explore climate change data like recent temperate, precipitation and emissions, along with local and national news coverage. To build this map, EJN used the +Google Maps API.
