Oft denke ich, die iSheeps haben einfach nix zu tun. Vielleicht musste die @Mac_Life einfach das inzwischen ja schon fast 8 Monate andauernde Sommerloch ueber Cupertino ein wenig wegbloggen. Why the GoPollGo Exit almost makes me angry

I am happy for each and every startup that gets noticed by one of the big guns and can finally get some well deserved cash into the organisation but I am a little bit mad about what GoPollGo did.

They joined Yahoo Mobile now which is great news for both sides but who in hell came up with the idea to tell all their users that they can basically piss off?

"As of today, we'll no longer be supporting GoPollGo's properties on the site, embeddable widgets or mobile app."

All the polls, all the data are gone! This isn't a very nice way to tell the users who made GoPollGo such a success that they are not needed anymore and that they basically wasted the time they invested into GoPollGo.

I wonder which one you use or like the most right now? I just got the S4 but I love the Note 2 and if it shouldn't be a phablet, I think I might even go for the HTC One!

So there were quite some rumors about a bunch of managers leaving HTC recently.... wanna really know what is going on?

Well forget about the suits! Those guys never stood a chance when it came to credibility and reputation. The Seattle team of HTC was pretty much a bunch of clowns... at least from the perspective of the Taipei headquarter and to be honest, when I read the Tweets of these guys, I feel the need to finally confirm this (I've been listening to these statements here in Taipei for quite a while... the US team was never taking seriously)...

Dear @united

I really like to fly with you and I think you did a terrific job in the last years. Your business class with the flatbed is fantastic, economy plus a great way to still have a comfy intercontinental flight and your in flight entertainment system is a real treat but what were you thinking when you designed and planned your lounges?

No matter where I am the United red carpet or the United Club is one of the saddest experiences I can imagine. Late 50's pre Ikea wooden furniture and by far the worst offers when it comes to food.

Lets see what was on the dinner menu for tonight in the United Club in San Francisco:

Pepper Jack Cheese, Cheddar and Monterey Jack wrapped in plastic. Drinking lemonade out of a plastic cup and dipping the cheese in Ranch dressing.

Dear Google, here is why I need Glass. Now!

First of all you can immediately tell that I have a "Glass Face" and how can you miss out on the chance to improve my overall look?

No, seriously... I believe in this technology and after following the history of smart glasses for over a decade this is the first product that creates some excitement again. 
I am so tired of constantly reviewing the same device categories when they don't really change from one generation to another. 
Glass is different because it would change the way I will interact with the world around me.

No Android Update at Google I/O 2013 was the Big News

Google IO 2013 was the launch pad of tons of new android services and features, but there was one thing that was most notably missing, an actual upgrade for android. Where was Android 4.3, there was enough speculation about it, heck blogs were even confirming that it was going to be launched hours before the keynote, yet the three and half hours passed and we never actually learned about the infamous 4.3 update.  Instead we learned about a new Maps experience, Google Play got 41 updates; Google Now is more conversational and offers a whole bunch more information and functionality; Google game services is upping the ante on all your Android devices and Google Play Music, All Access is going to completely change how music works on your Android device.

Sorry for being ignorant or my "out of the box" experience with the Chromebook Pixel

Let me start with a disclaimer: I've been constantly making fun of the Chromebook Pixel and even during the #io13  keynote I couldn't hold back my giggles when it was announced as "the best notebook" out there. 
Such bold statements are a red flag for me, because Apple uses this term for quite some years and I truely believe that there is no "best notebook"! The best notebook is the one, that you love, that fits your needs and budget!

To be honest, I would have never bought a Pixel because I thought it was way overprized and too limited because of Chrome OS. Anyways I finally got one, unboxed it, logged in with gmail account and... started to work on my #io13  keynote comment.
