Filter Google+ search results to only show photo posts
You can now filter your Google+ search results to only show photo posts. Just type in what you’re looking for, and select “Photos” from the filter dropdown.
You can find any photo post that’s shared with you -- from items shared only with you, to public photos shared by some of the great photographers on Google+. Here are some searches that I enjoy:
- Long exposure: https://plus.google.com/s/long%20exposure/photos
- Steel wool: https://plus.google.com/s/steel%20wool/photos
- Cartoons: https://plus.google.com/s/cartoons/photos

Adjust the volume of community posts in your Home stream
You can already adjust the volume of What's Hot and Circle posts in your Home stream (see http://goo.gl/d2nlU and http://goo.gl/wrHDD). Today, and by popular demand, we're bringing this option to Communities.
Say you want to see more posts from your travel community: now you can dial it up! Or maybe you don't want to be tempted by your dessert community (too often): choose to see fewer posts in your Home stream, or none at all. It's completely up to you!
To try it out, just visit a community that you've joined and click the "Actions" menu. You'll see options at the bottom to adjust the volume of posts in your Home stream. This will roll out throughout the day today.

New in the mobile app: support for Google+ pages
Today we're rolling out v3.2 of the Google+ app to Android and iOS; both versions include one of our most highly-requested features: support for Google+ pages. This gives page owners the ability to post, comment, and interact with their followers directly from their mobile device.
Additionally:
- The Android version includes an updated widget, and a new 'Find People' experience.
- The iOS version adds iPhone 5 and iOS 6 support, and the ability to edit your posts.
The new app is available now from Google Play (http://goo.gl/xaxMx) and the App Store (http://goo.gl/RVv2S), so give it a spin and let us know what you think!

Today we're rolling out v3.1 of the Google+ app for both Android and iOS. It's mostly performance improvements (with a couple of bug fixes), but there is one feature I wanted to mention.
Starting today (on Android, coming soon to iOS) you can join Hangouts On Air from your phone, and participate in someone's broadcast! The community's already using hangouts to share the news as it happens (http://goo.gl/SqJfD), so I'm really excited to make this feature available.

I'm in San Francisco (again!)... this time for the G+ Photographer's Conference. Cue the foghorn!

On the photowalk I'll be taking later today, one of the stops will be the Ferry Building. Its architecture is just SO cinematic... and I can be SO dramatic... things just went, you know, THAT way the last time I visited there. heh. (I couldn't stop thinking about the movie "Hugo".)
As always when it comes to G+, there have been some amazing stories of folks just getting here for this event... will try and share some of those AND moments along the way over the next couple of days.

A vision that finally came true... Milky Way clouds appear above glowing lenticular clouds and rugged peaks in this colorful night-time mountain scene.
This image is the result of a lot of planning to get things just right - factoring in snowpack, moonlight, light pollution, astronomical timing, camera gear, backpacking gear, special use permits, friends who'd even consider joining me for something like this, and (mother nature's trump card) the weather. And with a little flexibility on our timing, I'm happy to say that +David Kingham , +Dan Ballard, and I enjoyed what we considered to be a great success. It sure helped that luck was on our side with that glowing lenticular cloud!
