AUTO AWESOME CREATED THIS PANO of San Francisco
...and the amazing thing is I didn't even know I'd taken this. I was just snapping away and this showed up two days after the shoot when I turned on auto awesome! Totally unplanned.
After watching the +Brian Matiash Google photo update hangout I understood what #AutoAwesome did and switched it back on. It creates funky stuff from your auto backup images from your mobile device (not sure about regular uploads). Animations from multiple shots, collages and, obviously, panoramic goodness.
This auto stitch is a very cool. I also did an #AutoEnhance after the fact, on my nexus 7 tablet using the new Google Plus App. I don't leave this on by default because I do my own editing but for some mobile shots, well, Google is awesome.

I've just updated from CS 5 to CS 6, just before the announcement.
So here's my thinking:
Negative: they screwed me...
Positive: my CS 6 gets me 60% off
Negative: my CS 5 also qualified me. They screwed me.
Positive: Lightroom 5 is coming and I'll get that for free.
Negative: the upgrades are cheap for LR.
Positive: Garry feature updates
Negative: have top remember to sign Iin.

My Top 50 Most Relevant G+ Peeps / Groups
Shout out to +Circloscope for this nifty new feature in their product - if you haven't tried it then it's the easiest way to manage G+ circles I know and having features added all the time such as this.
So what can I say about these people & group?
The 50 represented here are literally just the tip of the iceberg of those that have made my journey on G+ fun (above all), educational, inspirational and filled with beauty and knowledge and the pages aside I count you all as eFriends - I have to say that not one of the names in this Top 50 is a surprise though I am delighted to see some names I wouldn't have recalled otherwise.

We were having glaciers rescue course in late summer 2011. Lots of fun :)

This is one of many photos on icy, cold and windy glacier in front of Johanissberg (3.400m) mountain.
Actually it's beginning of Pasterzee glacier - on the left side it goes down in the valley.
We were heading to those crevasses to jump into them - very nice experience :)

WHAT THE DUCK IS THAT
The look of wonder on a child's face at the sight of the Gian Rubber Duck in Hong Kong harbour.
"Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman is well known for his large-scale, outdoor sculptures, but his massive "Rubber Duck" project has to be our favorite. At 54 feet high, the bright yellow inflatable artwork recently made its way through Victoria Harbor in Hong Kong, looming over boats and eliciting laughs from ship passengers." I shared an album publicly today for +Ron Clifford mentorship completion. For some reason the post cannot be shared by +Ron Clifford
Ron tells me it's because the album is locked,.a feature I've never used ask this apprised me. When I checked the album shows as being "Public (Locked)"
I cannot unlock the album no matter what I've tried. Can anyone help?

EATING OUT WITH GAZZAROONII T at a very traditional Korean BBQ restaurant outside of Seoul
This was a traditional South Korean soya crab something or other. Looks amazing, tastes like cold, salty, fishy, snot. Well not everything tastes as good as it looks. The Korean BBQ before this slimy yuck more than made up for it though. Wonderful night out.

New Nik Collection by Google training video, Silver Efex Pro 2 The Zone Mapping System
Ever wonder what the little step chart in the lower right hand corner of your Silver Efex Pro 2 was? It's the Zone Mapping System! Basically it is an indicator system that allows the artist to visualize the relationships of tonal values in the black and white photograph. Check out the video to learn more.
