+Khrystiane Friedli has created a beautiful video about the third HWSI book "How We See It...the nature of our worlds" and the Charity Print sale that co-incides with the book's release.  Yesterday I received my prints from the Charity Print Sale, and they are wonderfully printed by Bay Photo. Today I received my copies of the books from Blurb books, and they are beautifully printed.  Thank you to all 73 ladies involved in this third book, and the over 120 ladies who have been involved in the various HWSI projects over the past year.

Final PLUSpost

It is now a little over a year ago that I signed up to G+ . At that time I had no idea, that this marks the start of a new stage in my life.
 
I've always loved to take photos and I managed to shoot quite often nice pictures, but my muse at that time was a pathetic little heap. As I gradually discovered the works of other photographers, this opened up a whole new world to me. When I saw a photograph that I liked, I looked at it and tried to find out what the photographers intension was. Then I tried to shoot similar, without really knowing why I did it. My Muse began to crane its neck and to strain its ears.  And so I realized step by step that I no longer just wanted to photograph a flower for example, because she is pretty, but I wanted that my image has also an artistic statement. I also want to thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to slice  through your magical mentorship which has allowed me to even watch the star!!!  Therefor I have a surprise for you!! It's a #appleforteacher  
And of course ♥  All my love for you! ♥

Ps. I had carved this face in one of the apples, inserted the feathers on the top to give her a hairstyle, borrowed her ear trailers and add two mini seashells, so she can have beautiful glance in her eyes… ;o)

Desperation .........

I made this sculpture ​​of brown clay several years ago. It is about 15 cm high..... I thought it would fit with  #firstfridayartwalk
At that time I had a very difficult period, and modeling my feelings helped me a lot ..........    Now, don't worry it's long ago and I feel really good now!! :o))

There will be times when you feel like you are stuck, times when people cast you off as a failure, but hold strong. Keep your head high, even when everyone around you is doing otherwise. It is sometimes not the easiest thing to do because often times we are fighting our own souls. Keep at it. You were created for greatness, do not stop until your hands touch what your were meant to be.

Thank you very much for the invitation to join this group! +Shantha Marie Fountain It is my first community I join and it is still strange to me, but I thought: "at some point you have to make the first move." So here I am, living in Germany and being also a amateur "Faux-tographer" (cool word!) learning, experimenting and exploring. Eyes allways fascinate me, but I have not yet dared to dive into this world photographically.
