A more seamless experience in the Gmail app for iPhone and iPad
Starting today, it's now easier to access other Google apps right from Gmail app. When you click on a YouTube, Maps, or Chrome link you'll go directly to that respective app if it's installed instead of opening the mobile browser. Of course, if you prefer you can turn this off using the in-app settings.
If you are using multiple accounts, today's update also lets you choose to sign out of of a single account instead of having to sign out of all accounts at once.
You can download the latest version here: http://goo.gl/2ma4I

Did you know that only about 4% of all Gmail messages get any formatting at all? With the new compose, we’ve moved these buttons out of the way to create a cleaner look that lets you focus on your message.
But here’s another fun fact: our research showed that if you perform one formatting action in a draft, you are more likely to do additional formatting in that same draft. That why once you’ve opened the formatting menu in compose, it’ll stick around while you’re writing the rest of that email.
Of course, if you prefer, you can skip the clicks all together by trying out our new formatting keyboard shortcuts! (http://goo.gl/yacy3). #GmailCompose

Attachments be gone! You can insert files up to 10 GB in size directly using Google Drive. And because your document is stored in the cloud, everyone you share it with will have the most recent version all the time. Gmail will also remind you to change your sharing settings if you email a link to a Google document that isn’t shared with the recipients of the message. #GmailCompose

We’re all for brevity, but every so often you need to write a lengthier reply or include an image which takes up more space. No worries - the reply box with new compose intelligently expands as you type and the recipients are always visible. You can also pop-out your reply using the arrow in the top left of your draft window. #GmailCompose

If you have an Apple device (iPhone, iPad, iPod) that you want to sync with your Google Calendar, then this is for you!
If you’ve ever tried to complete a task on your phone that required you to find, read, and then memorize instructions, you know how frustrating it can be so....
We created an audio version of the sync instructions so that you can listen to them on your iOS device while you follow along. Listen to the instructions on your iOS device by clicking “Listen now” in the Help Center article below. And, when you’re done, reply to this post and let us know what you think!
-How easy was it to use and understand?
-How does it compare to the traditional way of getting and following instructions on a mobile device ?
-Would you use audio instructions again for other help topics?
Thanks in advance :)
