On the Galaxy S4
I got to spend some quality time with the S4 (final hardware) before I left Samsung. I'm a huge fan of the S3 and use one everyday, so I was quite pleased with the S4. Yeah, there is no refresh of the industrial design other than a few minor things such as the edging, but the device actually feels quite a bit more solid than the S3. Specwise, this device blows the competition out of the water. There are a number of unique features that have a lot of potential (assuming Samsung is opening up an API for them) such as the touchscreen which can register "hover" events, and an IR blaster. Benchmarks put this device FAR above the competition (40K on Quadrant CPU) and there should be no reason why it won't run your favorite apps flawlessly. Lessons learned:
If, for some reason you want to upgrade a perfectly fine Windows 7 touch screen tablet to Windows 8, make sure you have the following items available:
1. A USB Keyboard
2. A USB Mouse
3. A USB External DVD drive
4. A USB wireless Network Adapter
5. A USB hub (To plug them all into)
6. Your Reg code (Win8 will not allow you to proceed without it, unlike Win7)
This all could have gone very smoothly if I had anticipated a few things before starting. On the bright side, I do not have to go out and buy a new WIN8 touchscreen table. My Dell Latitude ST runs it just fine, once you get over all the humps.

What is going on? G+ was scrolling really slow on Chrome, so I Googled the problem. Someone suggested turning off Flash in Chrome. I did and now the page is scrolling normally. WTF? I don't see a whole lot of Flash on the page. Why would that help? Something is screwy...

RIP Junior...Another example of someone who appears to have it all, but has severe problems under the surface. RIP Junior........I loved watching him play football. He was also very big in the community. I was devastated when the Chargers traded him.

+Tina Vale , I and others were chatting today about "Blue Heads"
For those who don't know what we mean, when you first join Google Plus, you are offered an opportunity to set your profile picture. If you don't, you get a "blue head" in the place where your profile picture goes.
So, I'm asking all you unpictured peeps who have circled me (thank you SO much for that, by the way) to fixt that. Would you please consider doing so? While I'm a real fan of faces that match your real life visage, even a logo is better than a "blue head."
