Ring of Fire

Yesterday, parts of Australia were treated to a spectacular "ring of fire" annular eclipse. Unfortunately for the Northern Hemisphere, you didn't get to see anything at all - so hopefully these amazing photographs will console you.

+Fast Burst Camera for Android is a good application while you shoot. But the experience is terrible when you are trying to create an animation (gif).

Starting from the very slow performance when an animation is rendering. However, that is not the worst thing.
The worst one is frame rate. You need to wait several minutes to render the image and then discard it just because you have selected too high frame rate. And then wait several more minutes to realise that the frame rate is too low now.

Ok, let's assume you did it right, saved the picture. But when you open it in the image viewer you suddenly see that animation is rotated 90°!

Don't Use Your Phone Whilst Driving

This is the sad, but timely reminder, of why you shouldn't use your mobile phone whilst driving.

The parents of Alexander Heit released the attached image to tell the story of how their son sadly lost his life trying to complete the above message whilst driving. Alexander drifted into oncoming traffic, tried to swerve and then went off the road, rolling his car.

He died shortly after the accident, on April 3, in the United States.

In consultation with the local police, the man's mother Sharon decided to share the image with the following statement:

"In a split second you could ruin your future, injure or kill others, and tear a hole in the heart of everyone who loves you."

Looking at the in game chat I believe that Alliance chat is a must. That would significantly reduce the floods in main chat. The guys from the overtexting alliance are agree to switch to alliance-only chat if it would exist.
