Amazing Ice Cubes in Lake
In the winter, for about five months or from January to May, the (Lake Baikal Russia) freezes over but the water is so clear that, from the surface, you can see an astounding 130 feet below you.
Wind, temperature differences, frost and sun in the ice crust cause cracks and ice hummocks to form. Transparent and shining in a turquoise color, these masses of broken ice look like shards of glass rising into the sky.

Here's a shot from Beijing, China, taken a few weeks ago during my visit. I wasn't able to post much there because G+ was blocked. As many of you who have been to Beijing may attest, the skies are quite muggy and polluted there. I only saw a blue colored sky once in 10 days. Though I'm not completely certain, this appears to be a nuclear power plant, so what's coming out of those towers would be steam. Maybe that's one step to cleaning up the air in Beijing.

Typical Communication Problems For Couples
Here's an example of a typical communication problem couples have -- she says one thing and he hears something else. Or more specifically -- she says how she feels and he looks for a problem to fix.
Solution? She needs to be more specific -- "This relationship (not it's) is not working. I can't take you (not it) anymore. I am going to my Mom's place."
Then tape the note to his forehead (not the refrigerator) so when the light comes on it will be the one in his head not the fridge, then he'll know you're talking about him, before he goes to the fridge for a beer and still says, "What the hell is she talking about?" Sorry -- can't fix every problem.
