My contribution to #throwbackthursday .

This is my youngest son Nathan when he was about a month old.  This is also about the first time I actually was able to hold him and love him the way a Daddy should.

He was very unhappy when first born and cried all the time.  I couldn't ever hold him without him screaming and I was very frustrated as I never had that problem with my first son.  The problem was, Nathan screamed with everyone.  We couldn't figure out why. 

One night as we were getting him ready to sleep he was extremely ill and appeared to be running a high temp.  Taking off his onesie and preparing to take his temp we saw the problem; out of nowhere a golf ball sized knot had grown on his chest.  It literally popped up in hours.  We immediately took him to the hospital.  After being looked at by several people and having many IV's put into himthey final... more »

I apologize for what seems my lack of participation on Plus lately but the Internet nazis at work have deemed Firefox as unsafe and purged it from my laptop. IE8, or again my company, apparently hates Plus as nothing works when I log in here.

I am still around and wanting to comment and plus one but for now am limited because of technology handcuffs. Yes, I can log in at home but I have a 6 and 4 year old - nuff said about that.

I'm here and I'm loving ya. I'll figure it all out soon.

Bear with me.

I believe, wholeheartedly, that God put me here with the sole purpose to help people; to help them smile.  I have an infinite amount of love in my heart for as many that need it.  I give of myself not because I am a good person, but because that is how I am made up.  The problem is sometimes I, Steve the human, get in the way.  I try too hard or say the wrong thing or think I'm doing something right when it comes across to the other person as totally wrong. 

I screw up.

Still, I try.  I am so far from perfect and so undeserving of ALL that God has blessed me with.  However, He put me here.  He gave me the gift of love.

I will continue to try and share it.
