Capgemini zou niet het eerste bedrijf zijn die te maken heeft met de kwestie van  faillissement versus loonverlaging. De vakbond denkt weer in de verkeerde richting, door het advies te geven om te staken, tegen te stemmen tegen loonverlaging, gaat het ene bedrijf failliet en het andere bedrijf blijft overeind. Kijk maar naar de aanbesteding; de aanbieder met de laagste kosten wint, de verliezer heeft omzetverlies en dat leidt tot baanverlies. En wat doen de bestuurders? Die leggen de keuze voor bij haar personeel, zij willen toch ook gewoon hun baan behouden?

How to batch uninstall multiple applications on Windows 7 or Windows 8.

Manually uninstalling applications can get very annoying if you do this often, but don't worry, I found a free tool to do this automatically.

There is also an portable (install- free) version that downloads here:

Just run the .exe file, make sure Batch uninstall is selected and multiple select the software you want to uninstall. 

Hit the uninstall button to start uninstalling software and clean up your PC.

How to search your Google Drive from within the Omnibox in Chrome

If you are a using Google Drive a lot and would like to know how to search your documents faster from within the Omnibox in Chrome, read further.

First, let me explain how this works. If you want to use the omnibox to search within Google Products, you always type a keyword and then hit TAB from within the Omnibox.

To enable search in Google Drive from the Omnibox, right click the omnibox and then click Manage Search engines and enter this data:

Name: Google Drive
Keyword: Drive
URL: https://docs.google.com/?hl=en&tab=bo#search/%s

Now close the settings from the Omnibox and type "Drive" and hit TAB.

Enter your search word and hit Enter.

Notice how fast this works!

How to uninstall Google Drive Webapps

I use Google Drive alot and I have also installed and tried webapps that 
can open files from within Google Drive.

One of the apps was Install Nexus, which would make Google Drive like Office 365, but it was not what I expected.

So I tried to uninstall the application, under the expected locations, the Chrome Startup- page, Tools, preferences, etc, but did not find it.

If you are lokking for a way to uninstall Google Drive Webapps, read further.

First, open Google Drive online. Then, click on the female screw icon on the upper right corner.

Click on Manage apps

Click on Options and Remove this app.

I rarely send paper mail to anyone or any business, so almost every communication goes digitally.

Recently, I downloaded all my email form Gmail with Thunderbird and extracted the attachments and saved them into my Google Drive.

That was a lot of work, but I did that, because it is not very convienient to search (within) attachments in Gmail.

With this extension I can save attachments directly into Google Drive and store them in folders.

I think Google should consider to work this out and let us choose where to save the attachment directly from Gmail, without having to go to Google Drive.

How to automatically highlight text in PDF.

If you need to study and you read PDF documents, then this tip might come in handfull.

Download and install the superfast and fully functional Foxit PDF Reader that lets you highlight text and save the PDF.

Then, select Tools...

Select "Customize Toolbars"

Select the "Keyboards"

Scroll to Highlight text and select it.

Scroll to the blank blank input field and fill in "CTRL + Space"

Click OK.

In the textdocument, press CTRL + Space and highlight any text. Press CTRL + Space again to disable/ enable.

How to remove duplicate files from Google Drive.

If you have bought an Google Drive account to sync all your files,
you might want to delete duplicate files to save some space,
not to surpass the limits of your account.

If you are a Google Drive user and want to save some space

You can only look for duplicates when you have all your files are stored on your harddrive. Google Drive will sync the deleted files to your online Google Drive.

To make sure that you have donwloaded all your files, look for Google Drive in your system tray and hover over the Google Drive icon with your mouse.

When all your files are offline, the message will be "Sync Complete".

Second, find this tool with Google and install it on your comupter:

Multiple account sign-in + personal Gmail + Google Apps email in Chrome

I had to sign out and in everytime I switched between GApps and personal Gmail account, until recently.

If you have these issues, follow this recipe:

Click the wrench
Click options
Click advanced
Click browsedata
Click empty cache
Click empty browsedata

Now sign on into both your GApps account and personal account.

Vóila.

FINBOX review

Ik heb me door een reclame op Discovery Channel laten benieuwen wat FINBOX nu precies inhoudt.

Je kunt je bij een van de drie banken (ABN AMRO, ING en Rabobank) aanmelden om je rekeningen op een plek te ontvangen.

Handig, want momenteel moet ik meerdere websites bezoeken, he bik verschillende wachtwoorden en straks zijn al mijn inkomsten en uitgaven op één website in te zien.
Het is geintegreerd met online banking, zodat ik kan zien waar het heengaat.


De naam FINBOX is een beetje misleidend, omdat het er op lijkt duidt dat alleen financieële instellingen aan zijn gesloten. Ik heb me inmiddels voor mijn kabelbedrijf, energiebedrijf en verzekering aangemeld, maar er zijn in totaal 186 bedrijven (en counting).

How to autoforward calendar events from one Google calendar to another

I wanted to autoforward all incoming calendar events Gmail/ Google Apps Email accounts to one Google Accounts.

I found out how. Just follow these steps:

Go into your Gmail/Google Apps Email accounts, click on Create a filter, then enter the following into Has the words: field:

(((("Note:" OR "Where:") AND "When:") AND ("Standard Time" OR (("Standard" AND ("AM" OR "PM")) OR "Greenwich Mean Time" OR "Dublin, Edinburgh, Lisbon, London, Amsterdam")) OR (filename:ics))

Note that you wille be requested to have to enable forwarding, to make this rule effective.

Angry Birds got me up from bed one hour longer, until I got the feeling of satisfaction, but it was fun all along

Untill I got 189/ 189 stars. Then I felt it was time to stop shooting birds, I felt the game was over.

I'd feet a rush, just like back when I was just a little kid shooting ducks in Duck Hunt, or completing a new level of Frogger. For moments I felt like that.

The hardest part was to score higher, even when I thought it was impossible to do.

But trying a different angle and shoot more bricks to debree, made me rethink it was possible. Using one bird to complete the level most of the time, was my goal in each and every level.

Again and again and again each level trying to complete the level with just one bird was challenging.

Chrome is king an this is why

I use Chrome since the beginning and I admit, I stepped back to Firefox and then since Chrome 3 stepped back, because Chrome is fast and compatible.

Now, Google Chrome is almost 100% compatible with all websites.

Never thought that the Chromebook could be immensily populair by netbook users?
Well, if you use Google Services a lot, what most people do and you don't like software installations, updates and you want no risk losing all your data when a truck rides over your netbook, then, a Chromebook is something to think about.

A lot of people bought this internetbased netbook last year, congruent to the usage of the Chrome browser and the growth of usage of Google Services, like GMail and Google Docs.

Why donating to Wikipedia is logical and makes sense

Iv'e donated to Wikipedia this year, as I do every year to Jimmy Wales and think about how much I love the idea of freedom of information, because it appeals me to e to freedom of information, for billions of people around the world, and for those tens of thousand of volunteers.

Wikipedia is dependant on dontations by volunteers.

This is how they pay their bills to continue providing free, easy access to unbiased information, for everyone around the world.

I would not ignore the appeal to donate to freedom of information, for billions of people around the world, an for those tens of thousand of volunteers.

Chat usage in Google+

I would use chatting more for professional goals on Google+, but not much for fun, hence I don't chat for fun, I never really did.

But I think I would use if, if my collegues would be on Google+, but they use Microsoft Communicator. I do want to use Google+ instead, only waiting for my colleagues to join Google+.

Is there a way to choose which people I want to see online in Google+ Chat?

Vandaag voor het eerst dit jaar de verwarming aangezet. Het is bij ons altijd 20 graden geweest, zonder de verwarming aan. Als het niet nodig is, dan zetten we de verwarming niet aan.

My messages from "Sent Items" in GMail have been missing since yesterday

I have only 12/ 5000+ messages in my "Sent Items", which i have been sending since 2005.

What is the cause of this issue? Who has this same issue? What can i do to resolve this? Is it only me, or are there more people impacted with this issue?

I have been looking in "Trash", "All Items", but no messages there. But luckily i did not lose items from the "Inbox", hence I rarely look for messages in "Sent Items", because I allready send them.

+Sarah Price and +Mark Striebeck I believe you could check what was happening and how to resolve this.

Dit is een goede website waar je oplichters kan melden. Ik raad het iedereen aan, sowiezo omdat je dan je frustratie kwijt bent, zoals mijn klacht over kaartjesboer VIAGOGO.

is dat er geen telefonische service is als je aankoop misgaat.

we kregen meteen een melding per email dat de transactie is geannuleerd.

Via IDEAL kun je niet storneren, wist ik niet, maar weet ik nu wel.

Use crowd-reporting as a strategy on spammers, swindlers and scammers on Google+

In this matter I take my place on the pro- report a scammer- side, because I think we Googlepluserati need to promote quality content that defies Google+ and differentiates it from other social network sites.

Google+ needs to be "the other place", and we need to take responsibility to keep it free from spam.

We need the crowd-report scammers like "Philip Jones", because this is no place to stay if you want to scam, spam or swindle.

Fooling us with making 100K per year, "Philip Jones" has no photo, has only the 25 most populair recommended Google+ suggested persons in his circle and has posted NOTHING.

Drag and drop pictures from GMail outside Google Chrome

Now, I've used the possibility to drag and drop attachments for E- mail I send, a cool feature that makes E- mailing a cool experience!

Today Iv'e discovered that I can drag and drop attachments from recieved E-mail within GMail outside the browser.

Right brain versus the left brain

Psychiatrist and writer Iain McGilchrist explains why we live in a left- brain society, where the right part doesn't really have a voice.

I really recommend watching this 11- minute video, because I think the approach of educating people with video and animation is very compelling. RSAnimate is really catchy on explaining and it sticks with me for a very long time. I think this movies are really usefull and entertaining.

I''m also very passionate on the right part of the brain; creativity and socialness, but I think that the right brain is as equal important as the left.

Google has so many services i wanted to sum them up in a page, but i want quick access to them, hence i use them a lot!

I wanted to have fast access to services so i could try them out. I could create one bookmark one by one, but that's too much work.

Handige kalender, Nationale Feestdagen NL voor Google Calendar

Ik gebruik een geharede kalendar om te zien wanneer welke feestdagen zijn, zodat ik deze nooit zelf hoef toe te voegen.

Het is een groot voordeel om te kunnen zien op welke dagen bepaalde feestdagen vallen.

Alleen Nederlandse Nationale Feestdagen

Reshare als je ook in de feeststemming bent ;)

Don't inundate a post with clueless, crass or callous comments. Do the next things.

1. Share
You can share a post. This means that you like it so much that you’re willing to bet your reputation on it by providing it to your readers too. This is probably the most powerful comment people can make.

2. +1
A +1 is a like tip for the valet or bellman. Any single +1 is not a big deal, but like tips, they can add up to significant compensation.

3. About the one-word comments
Use the +1 feature instead of making a one-word comment. Or at least try to make a comment that is longer than one word: “Cool, I’m glad that you posted this,” “Cool, I’ll have to try this too,” or “Cool, please keep this kind of post coming.”
