"I've never had anything done to my face. Not that poison, not a face lift. I think it's a waste of money." 

On getting older:

"It's going to happen, so why worry? My generation got on with it. I do find people are always complaining these days. I try to remain cheerful, not grumpy. I've developed glaucoma, but the drops I have to put in my eyes have made my lashes grow! So there is always a plus side."

We're still getting through the passing of Our Pack's mascot, pup nanny and friend, Posie. We were creating a poster with her image, before she passed. We're offering it now as a commemorative poster.

Proceeds go to her favorite work, helping puppies get out of shelters, learn about the world, get training and socialization to live a happy life. Posie was a teacher for dogs and humans and we want to see her work live on.

This morning I thought - another gray, chilly rainy day. Another day of sleep for the guy. Come home from work, and he's up and walking around, a little while later the sky's cleared, sun's out - we're out. Great walk, came back in prepared his dinner, all the while Schoep right next to me patiently waiting.

THAT WAS QUICK! I almost didn't get a picture - Schoep ate his fish so fast, between you and me I think he only had the ice cream on his mind. Now after I post this we'll go on our walk, come in and read more cards. It's really cool to meet your family's as well - as many have included letters and photo's in the cards.

The first otters born at Perth Zoo, in Western Australia, in 18 years made their public debut on Sept. 17, 2012, during a health checkup by the zoo's veterinary staff.

Asian small-clawed otters are the smallest of the world's 13 otter species, typically weighing just under eight pounds (3.5 kilograms) when fully grown.

At thirteen weeks old, the otters received a health checkup and vaccination.

The pups are starting to become more active and adventurous, exploring their enclosure at the zoo.

Laughter is Contagious - Even in the Israeli Knesset

I can't stop laughing......

While making a speech in front of the Israeli parliament, the education minister burst into a giggling fit that went viral on YouTube. The laughter quickly spread in the chamber, with other members wiping their eyes uncontrollably. 

The official, who is also a rabbi, could not get past the first sentence dealing with smuggling cell phones into Israel's prisons:

"Mr. Chairman, the aim of this legislation is to deal with a serious phenomenon - the penetration of prohibited objects into prisons."

Even when you don't speak Hebrew, the laughter is absolutely contagious.

Conner is 9 years old, and he is a very fit athlete playing all types of sports. His younger brother Cayden is 7 years old, but hasn't been able to play any sports with him because he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy as a baby.

So last year, Conner made a decision to team up with Cayden in all three events of his triathlons (running, biking, swimming).
