Craig Froehle4,629467 Plussers Well Worth FollowingSome curated recommendations to make your Tuesday a bit more interesting. I kept this circle largely free of celebrities, pages, and organizations, so these should (nearly) all be actual people. Enjoy!By the way, topic-wise, it's a bit of a potpourri, but with emphasis on technology, science, progressive politics, skepticism, and other fascinating things.Note that I don't always agree with everyone in this circle, so don't take this as an endorsement of their ideas...merely that they tend to be thoughtful when presenting them.2012-07-03 14:29:094671718

I will remove you from this and any future shared circle I create, but I will keep you in my G+ circles.Furthermore, with each version I try to include new active engagers that are looking to meet other GPlussers to interact with, but I understand the old users may not have as much interest to meet new users and won’t circle them back, so I will prefer including users that really want to interact with new users. For TIPS TO GET PEOPLE TO CIRCLE YOU you may want to check: https://plus.google.com/u/0/111635150542674847021/posts/Q6c3ikBhdT3Thank you for your help making Google Plus adventure and exhilarating one…#SharedCircle #CircleShare #ActiveUsers #Engagers #Commenters #TopCirclesP.S. All these GPlussers have interacted with my posts on the last week so you know they are currently active and willing to enjoy, share and comment on any good post.Disclaimer: This “Active Engagers Shared Circle” v1.2 includes GPlussers with different interests and a variety of political positions. I don’t necessary agree with all their opinions, but I certainly respect their point of views… even if while I was adding some of them to this circle I was trying to kick my own… well you get the point…I recommend you to make your best to hook these guys to your circle and the best way to make them circle you back is having some great public posts in your stream before you add them to your circle, follow the following tips to make the best of your Google Plus adventure…TIPS TO GET PEOPLE TO CIRCLE YOU.First thing, go to your profile and fill out the “About” tab, it is very important that you try to fill this out as much as possible, you may want to avoid personal information like your address and phone number, after all it is the Internet. A lot of people before circling you back will review this page and won’t circle you if it is blank. At least you should fill the Introduction, Bragging rights (something that catch the eye, brag about yourself), and Places lived. Also, it is very important to change the default photo, as beginner I would recommend to put one of your best pictures where the other Google Plus users can see your face, then later change it with your pet picture or whatever you want to have as your avatar. It is very important when you start that people feel like is getting to know you so they can feel confident to circle you back… don’t put that picture your friends shoot last time you fall asleep at that party… leave it for later, when enough people have circled you back..Don’t hide your information, there is nothing wrong with being new to Google Plus and don’t having too many people in your circles or not too many people that circled you back. A lot of people, like me, won’t be really inclined to circle back somebody that hides this information, it could be a troll or a spammer. Besides, looking to the people you have in your circle and who circle you back may help to get somebody to circle you back, it has happened to me when I do not find enough posts from a user that interest me, I check their circle and if I find people that I know as interesting, I assume there is potential for this person to become interesting as well. Before you start adding people to your circle, fill your stream with great stuff. The first think I do when people circle me is to check their streams to find out what they post, if I don’t find enough stuff that interests me, I don’t circle back. Chances are, this will be the only time the people you circle will take a look to your stream, if they don’t circle you back, so don’t miss the chance to introduce yourself with great posts.Don’t even think on writing, “I’m going to take a shower”, “Brrr, it is freezing”, “I’m going to the gym”, … as posts, you can use FB for that, for some reason people don’t find amusing these kind of posts in Google Plus. Instead, you can share whole anecdotes, funny stuff is always very well welcomed… The usual “Good Morning” or “Good night” seems to be fine, if you really have to post it…Until you have enough people in your circles, try to make only public posts, so the people you circle can chec2012-03-19 10:05:55498818

Sir John Hardy17,427There have been a few circles shared about lately. None, however, is as good as this one. Each person in this circle has been crash tested in a laboratory, simmered in a social incubator and boiled in the crucible of interaction. Armando Lioss7,406How to Get People to Circle YouIf you don’t want to get bored, jump to the tips and skip my blah blah blah…This weekend has being snowing and a bit cold for my taste, so I spent it social networking most of it… I had a chance to chat with a bunch of friends in FB and find out that several of them have tried Google Plus and gave up, because they couldn’t make friends… the word was “it is boring”, “it is dead”, “nobody friends you back for weeks”, “I have sent invitations to 100’s and just a couple friend me back”, …Well, been in FB myself for a while I can understand the culture, but the first thing one needs to be aware of is that this is not FB, here we have circles and we don’t send invitations, we circle the people that we find interesting, the goal is not to have a lot of friends, but to find people with the same interests, those we find amusing, entertaining, we can learn from or connect with. Yes, ideally we want to connect too and that is why it is not that important to have a lot of friends, but get the ones that share our interests so we can interact with them, but not all the people in your circles will circle you back. As you add people to your circle your stream will run faster and you don’t want to flood your stream with posts that you don’t care about, so make sure you circle the right people. The following are some pointers to get people to circle you back, most of it based on my own preferences, what I have learned from others in Google Plus and the errors I have seen chatting with my FB friends.TIPS TO GET PEOPLE TO CIRCLE YOU. First thing, go to your profile and fill out the “About” tab, it is very important that you try to fill this out as much as possible, you may want to avoid personal information like your address and phone number, after all it is the Internet. Every single one of my FB friends that complained about not getting “friends” got this page blank. Armando Lioss7,358I have seen how trendy circle sharing has become and it seems to be a great social network tool.I've made a compilation of the most active users in my circles to share with the G+ community, this includes guys and gals who actively share information with me and share/comment my posts with their circles.I recommend, if you don’t have these people in your circles yet, to add them. They will surely make your user experience more dynamic and entertaining.NOTE: I can only go so far back in my stream, before my laptop becomes insufferable slow, I know I have missed hundreds of equally great people in my circles, hopefully I’ll have them included next time I share my active circle…2012-03-03 12:09:01251424

Billy Wilson30,332Interactive People on G+: Part TwoThe other day I asked people who they thought was the most interactive person they have found on G+ and since then I have gotten around 1,000 responses and more than 1,000 people have been suggested. Since people from many different communities responded I ended up with a sampling of people from across a lot of the G+ world. There was interest in having a circle created of the people nominated in my threads and this is the second circle I have produced. There are still more nominations to go through and this is a testament to the community here on G+! Once I'm done working through more nominations I will have another circle ready to share. You can still nominate people on this thread or on this one: http://goo.gl/gkE1d #CircleShare2012-02-01 21:24:0850114466129

Amy McLeod1,986Ok, I have recently expanded my articulate and engaged circle with circles other people have given out of people that are interested in or actively participating in the Occupy movement. I'm not guaranteeing everyone I'm sharing here, as 900 odd people is a bit much to go through. These are people who would normaly be all over the political spectrum, but all interested in the the problems with out of control finance and it's corruption of goverment, they will certainly hold many views totally contrary to yours on many issues, but on this issue they are the 99%. I can't even guarantee that everyone in this circle is what I've stated above, I just took on trust the circles that have been shared to me and added them to people I had circled as articulate and engaged before Occupy took off, some of them may even be incomprehensible and disinterested, feel free to sort through them yourself if you have time, but I'd urge you not to exclude anyone just because their views are the polar opposite of yours on other issues. 99% is more important than any other divide and on this one thing both left and right should be united.First 500 are here.Amy McLeod shared a circle with you.2011-10-19 15:12:51500301
