The Uggerby Å (creek) is aprox 80 km long and runs into the "Skagerak" sea East of Hirtshals

Rubjerg cliffs is the highest part of Lønstrup Klint, an approx. 15 km long coastal cliff between Lønstrup and Løkken in Denmark. On the cliff is Rubjerg Knude Lighthouse. South of that is Rubjerg Plantation.

Mårup Church (Danish: Mårup Kirke) was a Romanesque church located in Vendsyssel in Denmark's northern Jutland. The church was built on Lønstrup Klint, a cliff on the North Sea near the town of Lønstrup in the Hjørring municipality. The area is noted for its windswept landscape, constantly shifting sands and eroding coastline. After hundreds of years of erosion brought the North Sea dangerously close, the church was partially dismantled in 2008 to prevent its falling into the sea. The walls remain at the site, along with the anchor of a British frigate that sank off the coast in 1808.

"BOVBJERG LIGHTHOUSE"

The "Bovbjerg Lighthouse" is located in the top westernly end of Juthland, Denmark
Bovbjerg fyr er bygget i perioden 1876 – 1877 og blev tændt første gang 30. december 1877. Fyrets flammehøjde er 62 m, mens selve tårnet kun er 26 meter højt, da det står på en høj skrænt. Bovbjerg Fyr er et anduvningsfyr, dvs. et af de store fyr, der bruges ved sejlads på havet.
Fyrkarakteren er to hvide blink hvert 10. sekund. Lyskilden er skiftet flere gange, men fyret har stadig sin originale Fresnellinse fra 1877. Siden 1978 er det ligesom andre danske fyr blevet styret fra Fornæs Fyr, og det lyser stadig. I klart vejr kan lyset ses på 16 sømils (29,5 kilometer) afstand.
Der er 93 trin op til udsigtsbalkonen. Herfra ser man ud over Bovbjerg, som er et uspoleret istidslandskab, hvor fed grøn græsmark strækker sig helt udtil den 40 meter ... more »
