Tony Abbot's budget reply.
For those of you that are interested and follow Aussie politics.
It wasn't a bad speech delivered by Tony Abbot, I can't help thinking that he put a well deserved boot up Labour's backside.
"The next election should not be about who becomes Prime Minister, it should be about who can do more for our Country, because our country is more important than any of us in this Parliament."
" It's not about us, it's about you, the Australian people, we pledge ourselves to your service."
Brilliant ending... now if Liberal can deliver, then that would be the icing on the cake!

Traditional Olive oil

I love Olive Oil and use it daily in cooking, on salads and vegetables.
Now is the time for making olive oil in Australia...
Our Olive tree is full but not quite enough to pick and make our own olive oil.

Today is a sad day.. Chrissy Amphlett lost her battle to Cancer and MS.
Chrissy made a difference, her music was powerful and sexy.. RIP

DO OUR KIDS KNOW WE RESPECT THEM?

Do you have a person in your life you look up to? Really, think of someone you really respect, like, give ear to, trust, whose company you would really enjoy and appreciate. Maybe, it’s your teacher, your colleague, or just a very good friend. How would you feel if you were around that person and constantly received only the leftovers (if any) of his/her time, energy and effort? If they ignored your questions, requests, just because there was someone or something more important to take care of? You would probably feel neglected, insignificant, humiliated, and disappointed.

Yet as adults we often treat kids in this way. We pick up the phone while in the middle of a conversation with the child, we ask random questions about school when the kid is talking about his favorite movie, we forget to say “please” when we ask for something, weforget... more »
