So today I upgraded to Windows 8 on my laptop and I just don't get it. On the one side you have Microsoft all raa raa raa about Windows 8. On the other side you have the doom and gloomers going on and on and on about how bad the new interface is.

I must be indifferent as hell because I just don't understand either side of the argument. I'm just not feeling the shock to the system that nay sayers preach about while at the same time I feel that Microsoft is just way over hyping this thing.

Just my 2 cents...

So I upgraded from Ubuntu 12.04 to 12.10 and excuse the language but fuck do I regret doing that. I thought Unity was a pain in my ass before... Unity in Ubuntu 12.10 is a complete and utterly disastrous train wreck. Now installing Cinnamon as I type in an attempt to get my laptop to some degree of usability.

Work is completed on the first of four elemental editions of Tail of the Dragon. The screenshot below show Tail of the Dragon "Water".  The plan is to release Air, Earth, Fire, and Water in desktop and iPhone versions along with iPhone versions of the original Tail of the Dragon next weekend.

So a friend contacts me on Facebook. Says her puter is having issues. It won't let her drag and drop files from one folder to another. Windows gives an error message saying that the file no longer is at that location, to verify its location. By all appearances the file is at said location. Wants to know if I can help.

My problem? I don't use Windows anymore and this is not a problem that I can remember ever having in my Windows days. Anyone got any ideas? Trying to find any info on this issue is proving to be truly the proverbial pain in my ass.
