I can understand security concerns since they do have the "keys". I'm also looking at other services, but DropBox is the most integrated one I've found so far.

There's a poor little doggie that's lost and at our house. She's (he's? that's personal, didn't look) a dachshund mix and quite friendly. We can't have her inside the house due to our cats, but we've made up a bed in our workshop that should be comfy enough for the night. We're making sure she's ok during the storms and the cold night.

Our house is near Clarksville Pike & Rawlings Road in Joelton, TN near Nashville.

We really want to make sure she gets home safe! Please let us know if you or anyone you know is missing a nice little puppy.

The best MMO news ever!

Though with details still to come, the following tweet was just recently send from John Smedley (Pres. of SOE):
"Ok EQ Mac Players. You are a wonderful group of players. We will leave it running with no changes or subscription fees. Details soon"

I can't describe how happy this makes me. EQMac is the best version of EQ available. It's stuck in time just after the release of Planes of Power. It defines the term "hard core MMO". Corpse runs, xp loss, glacial levelling pace, etc. It's hard and it just might break you.

Best V-day gift ever.

EverQuest Macintosh Edition is getting a huge update!

A team member at SOE has been working on a new Intel based client for EQMac as OSX Lion no longer supports Rosetta, the PowerPC emulation layer. This new client is currently in a VERY BETA state and should only be used for testing. So don't complain if you lose and epic due to a weird bug. You've been warned.

The place to get it and discuss it is in the EQMac Forums with this thread http://www.eqmac.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=10782

In that thread you can find all the instructions for getting the new VERY BETA build and launcher. Follow the instructions in the first thread carefully. There are a few gotchas. Further on in the thread are instructions on getting your eqclient.ini and character .ini files moved over as well as info on custom UIs.

Hello and welcome to all my new minions followers.

This week I'm looking forward to:

1. Dark Souls guide, should be here today. If you're not playing Dark Souls, you're really missing out.
2. iOS 5 release and XCode 4.2. Frankly, I'm looking more forward to the new XCode build than iOS 5 itself, but both are really nice.
3. New DLP chip for the defective one in our TV. Samsung has done an awesome job taking care of this "white dot" issue.
4. Re watching many of the Marx Brothers films. Still brilliant.

I bet there's more, but it's early and I'm still not caffeinated enough.

This is the first time I've ever asked Steam for a refund. RAGE is completely unplayable for me and I've lost all faith in id as a PC developer. I'll try it on PS3 instead as it's obviously a console game anyway. nm, fuck them, they don't deserve a cent.

I won't list all their crimes here, you can find them all over the gaming blogs and such if you want. I'm done with them on PC.

Shame on you id. You've just thrown all the PC gamers under the bus.

And don't you fucking dare tell me to have patience and wait for a patch or some other bullshit excuse. This thing was tested for ages and shown running brilliantly on PCs at QuakeCon which just leads to more questions. There is no excuse for this release, it's just a total and complete fuckup and fuck you to PC gamers.
