A couple weeks ago I was added to several big shared circles (thanks +Gideon Rosenblatt and +Peter G McDermott!). My follower count exploded, and as an experiment I decided to re-circle and introduce myself to all of my new followers. I managed to do it for 1121 of them, although I have to apologize to my most recent followers - I couldn't keep up with the circling! I notified each of these 1121 people in groups of 100 with a little post about who I am and what I'm about, and asked them to share the same about themselves.
Lo and behold, these 125 replied, and with quality posts. It was amazing to see the kind of interaction between a rather random group and the connections that were formed by the commenters on my posts.
This is my thank you to them for introducing themselves to me, and I hope you'll add them. They're a fascinating and diverse group, and they've all taken the time to thoughtfully engage. I hope they continue to do so for you!
P.S. Let me know if I missed you, this was a big project but I tried to get everyone who replied!
