Gee, I wonder why all this wasn't shown on the news?

There really is 2 sides to every story, and I find it interesting how the media now days, only shows the side that will get them the most ratings.

Well worth the watch, if you have an extra 16 minutes to do so - I think you'll be as surprised as I was with what really happened. ^smh^

EDIT: I removed my statement about them having it coming to them, because after a good and peaceful conversation with fellow G+er's on this thread, there are other ways this could have been handled.

But I still believe that the media are a bunch of rating whores, and should share the whole story, not just the bad. As we're entitled to know the whole truth, and decide for ourselves.

Did anyone even READ This article?
1) 19 year old homeless woman
2) NO MEDICAL PROOF
3) The first source of this article I can find online is http://oneangryqueer.blogspot.com/ Seriously. I realize its a questionable link.. but thats the first source. It includes such quotes as "Previously homeless, she now sleeps every night at the Occupation, grateful for a safe place to lay her head."
4) The event happened on Nov 15th. 7 Days ago. Obviously a miscarrige by a 19 year old homeless woman 7 days later is related to pepper spray.

The OWS movement, to the extent that its about 1) growing inequality among rich and poor; 2) excessive influence of corporations over government; and 3) the reckless abuses of Wall Street financial firms is a noble cause, to be sure.

Unfortunately, it's also awash in myths and falsehoods.

The biggest myth is that the police brutality, abuse and incompetence we've seen captured repeatedly in pictures and videos has anything to do with the police opposing the goals of the Occupy movement.
