Another BTS for #MacroMonday . Today's theme is kitchen objects.
My first thought was to go straight to the utensils. But our kitchen is so full of color, I wanted to share some it. But how to share color and still focus on something for macro. Toothpicks! The color found its way into the background.
Like always, a very basic setup. The lighting had changed a bit here. There was window light coming from the upper right corner, as well as lighting directly above. I placed the toothpicks on their plastic dispenser. I staggered them so they weren't in a straight line. I used the measuring cups to throw some color into the mix. The end.

Another BTS for #MacroMonday . Yesterdays theme was bubbles.
Again, nothing fancy. I used this plate, placed near the kitchen window for light. I used a straw to push the bubbles around until I had a little arch. The final image was rotated 180*, and the color was tweaked a bit.
Obviously, by the time I took the setup shot, the bubbles had changed slightly. But the area in the red circle is where the image was captured.

Finishing up my first 5 Vegas Classic. Sorry no pic.
The flavor, meh. It's not bad, just not really my taste. However, the retrohale is amazing! I wanted to smoke it through my nose. Like I said, just not really my taste. But the smoke itself was flawless. Perfect draw and burn all the way to the end.

I wish I would have tripod mounted my camera for this to show the exact placement of the camera and lens, but I handheld the shot. My lens was about 3" away from the feathers...I think. The subtle yellow and blue background is from the pictures and wall color, behind the boa feathers. I softened up the colors in PS.

Over the last few months, my G+ time has been almost nonexistent. I don't like that shit.
