First odd encounter in San Diego (or ever, for that matter!)...
So I am outside taking a walk, when this young guy (I'd guess early 20ies?) comes up to me and says...
Him: Excuse me may I ask you a question?
Me: Sure.
Him: Do you know of any older ladies in the neighborhood looking for a boy-toy?
Me: Uh no, sorry (kept walking)
Him: What about you?
Me: No thanks, I'm good.
I was so caught off guard (as I was expecting him to ask me for directions or something), that I wished I'd come up with a better response! Like this one... lol

Well, I was on the fence of which of the 2 Google phones I'd choose - not so much now, GS4 wins hands down (IMO). Of course, I am not pouncing on any new phone, until I see if/when the new Nexus will be out and it's specs.
Thx to +Derek Ross and his posting about the HTC One being confirmed for a pure Google phone as well, which made me compare the 2. =)

How does one start a Hangout without inviting anyone at first?
I liked the old setup better, where I could start a hangout and check my mic, cam etc., and then invite people. The new setup won't allow one to do this, unless I am missing a step?

California's Allstate rocks!
Man, I should have moved to CA years ago, just for the MUCH lower insurance alone! My rate went from $610 (per/6 months), down to $465 (per/6 months)!
AND that's not all, I have even MORE coverage now than I did before! =)
Now for my real thoughts on insurance companies...

First home cooked meal in San Diego...
Since the plans I had tonight were canceled, I decided to unpack my new NuWave Oven, and make this delish meal. Thick juicy steak, and marinated/seasoned asparagus = YUM! And of course a glass or 2 (or more) of wine. =)
Of all the As Seen on TV products that I've seen/and or purchased, this by far is the best! Bacon is to die for in the NuWave, thankfully I had enough common sense to buy some the other day, and will be cooking it up in my NuWave very soon! =D

What I REALLY love about the new G+ (and no, I am not trying to rub it in that I have it...), is the dynamic window swing outwards when you want to post, BUT mostly I absoFUCKENlutely LOVE the "Twitter" like feature!
I've been nagging for them to do this since beta! My stream is at a standstill until "I" click the continue to see more button! YES WTG GOOGLE <3 YOU! =)
