HELP, Please. - Can anyone explain why images I'm sharing via a post or an album seemed to have someone's name tagged into it? I'm most definitely NOT tagging someone when I post, but as soon as I hit "share" the image turns up as being "WITH... (name)". I don't know how to stop it from happening, and I don't see any way to remove it. - I should also mentioned this started with the new G+ format change a week or two ago.

Does anyone else experience this? Maybe +Jeff Sullivan knows someone at G+ who can assist?

Dog Walker at Ocean Beach, San Francisco, California

One of my personal favorites, and which I talk about in workshops and presentations under the subject of "sometimes the first shot is the best shot." This was shot on professional slide film while working on my second book, Our San Francisco. I shot this single frame at the end of the roll from across the beach with a telephoto lens. I changed film, went up and introduced myself, and wound up shooting an entire roll with the dog jumping up and repeating this trick, and none were as good as that 1st shot spontaneously taken from across the beach.

Pretty warm here at my house in the San Francisco Bay Area this afternoon; somewhere in the high 90's (F). Pretty cool by Death Valley standards, where today it was supposed to reach 122F. (119F in the shade.)

Sunset Light on Nevada Falls below Liberty Cap and Half Dome, Grand Staircase of the Merced River, Yosemite National Park, California

Such a lovely place, I'm anxious to get back up here within the next two weeks. However, I was very saddened to hear about a young 19-y.o. man who was presumably killed this weekend after going over the edge of this nearly 600-foot waterfall. Apparently he was swimming upstream of the falls when the current swept him away. It's a powerful reminder to everyone to pay careful attention to the posted warning signs which are there to protect and caution visitors.

Eiffel Tower at Dusk

Thinking about my trip to Paris back in 2009 which was roughly around the time i started getting more into photography. This is an old photo of mines that I reprocessed this evening in Lightroom. I shot this photo with a Canon XS and the kit lens (18-55mm), my first digital SLR.

I only spent two days at this incredible city which certainly wasn't enough. I'm certainly looking forward to come back and explore Paris again as well as the rest of France.
