Hadeel, 12, lives in Gaziantep and fled from Syria with her mother and four brothers and sisters. Her dad stayed behind because he didn’t want to lose the family business. A few days later, he was killed by a bomb dropped by the regime. Hadeel and her family all sleep in a one room flat and all work at least 12 hours a day in factories.

So far this year, they've documented the murders of 26 men they've accused of being homosexual - though activists say the true figure could be much higher. Caroline Hawley has travelled to Lebanon to meet a friend of one of the murdered men - who  himself had a narrow escape. We're not identifying him and his words are spoken by an actor. You may find some of  Caroline's report distressing.
