An emergency slide is tried out in a building in Shanghai, China. The stainless steel chute has been attached to the banister of the stairs. The idea is that in an emergency the slide would be deployed and people would use it to exit the building quickly rather than using the stairs. According to inventor Zhou Miaorong people using the slide could escape from a five-storey building in 14 seconds.

Nanoparticles loaded with bee venom kill HIV
Nanoparticles carrying a toxin found in bee venom can destroy human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) while leaving surrounding cells unharmed, researchers at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis have shown. The finding is an important step toward developing a vaginal gel that may prevent the spread of HIV, the virus that causes AIDS.
"We are attacking an inherent physical property of HIV," Hood says. "Theoretically, there isn't any way for the virus to adapt to that. The virus has to have a protective coat, a double-layered membrane that covers the virus."

This is NOT a reptile! This is the larva of the Hemeroplanes triptolemus moth. In its larval form it is capable of expanding its anterior body segments to give it the appearance of a snake, complete with simulated eyes. It's mimicry extends even to the point where it will harmlessly strike at potential predators.

道~ Dao or Tao can be roughly thought of as the flow of the universe, or as some essence or pattern behind the natural world that keeps the universe balanced and ordered. It is related to the idea of qi, the essential energy of action and existence. Dao is a non-dual concept – it is the greater whole from which all the individual elements of the universe derive.
Dao is usually described in terms of elements of nature, and in particular as similar to water. Like water it is undifferentiated, endlessly self-replenishing, soft and quiet but immensely powerful, and impassively generous. Much of Daoist philosophy centers on the cyclical continuity of the natural world, and its contrast to the linear, goal-oriented actions of human beings.

Today, I would like to discuss the origins of 'Cunt'. Yes Cunt. The most beautiful and versatile word in the English language and yet, at the same time, can be used with such impact that no one can ignore it.... So how did such a word become a derogatory expression?....
'The Origin of Cunt~"Cuneiform", the most ancient form of writing, derives from "kunta" meaning "female genitalia" in Sumerian of ancient Iraq.
