In addition to his many science fiction novels, he is known for his blog “Beyond the Beyond” which he is been writing for almost 10 years now and which is hosted by Wired.

We started with the usual introductory comments and I was immediately impressed with his intelligence and the power of his expressions.  Our first topic of conversation was about the European start-up scene and how it differed from Route 128 and Silicon Valley.
