A great collaboration tool for teaching Java to people... anywhere. It works but it needs our help to continue to be great.

This is a great product that needs your help to succeed. Try it out and see if it could be of use to you or your students. It's Wikipedia, Google Wave and Eclipse all rolled into one. And there's only two people working on it. They need our help.

Could someone please point me to any Education Circles? I've seen people post their circles and websites that have education circles in them. Please and thank you.

To my educational peeps. I deleted my educational circle from my Gmail contacts. Didn't realize that was possible. Could you please share your education circle and then comment here so that I can go to your profile and add them? Much thanks.

Where did my circles go? I still have the actual circles but there's only a few people in there. I had over 300 people in my Education circle and now there's only one.

Real-time search and improved hashtag support

Today we're rolling out two new features: 1) real-time search results; and 2) improved hashtag support. Together, we're trying to make it easier to follow and contribute to live events on Google+, including breaking news, sporting events, and many others.

Real-time search
Now when you search in Google+, you'll see a message about new posts the instant they're available. If you click on this message, or select "Most recent", then relevant posts will start appearing in real-time.

Improved hashtag support
People have long used hashtags to mark their posts with certain topics -- just ask our very own +Chris Messina, hashtag inventor. You don't have to use hashtags on Google+ (search works fine without them), but when you do, we'll automatically link to search results.
