So this last Saturday I headed out to take my son over his friend’s house and what to I see at the end of my block??? Fire!  … In a normal neighborhood this might have been a “cause for alarm” but alas I don’t live in a normal neighborhood… actually it’s far from normal!
for example:

One day I came home at lunch and was greeted by the sight of men carrying “assault” rifles .. Ok... Ok .. they were police but come on “no one needs that kinda weapon right”  (yes that was sarcasm). Yeah for a drug bust at the corner house, I always wondered why they were always inside the RV parked in the driveway of that house.

One morning I walked outside to check the mail and there was a man in a “Moonsuit” (a Hazmat suit straight out of the movie Outbreak) coming out of a plain white van in the middle of the street, and walking into my neighbor’s house.  I don’teven want to know why, but no on... more »

This photo was taken while on a RT66 photo tour with the Tulsa Digital Photography Group.  At the Totem Pole Park in Chelsea, OK. While everyone was shooting the totem pole I found this manual drill press just sitting out in the field and something about it caught my eye!
