Hi all :)

A few months back one of our cats got sick and needed an expensive eye operation. We turned to crowdfunding to help us cover the cost, and made a game starring our cat, Pixie. It's an infinite runner platformer with millions of gratuitous rainbows - just a bit of fun really :)

Doing something different with Twine! My man and I (and a couple of friends) are making a point-and-click motion-comic adventure game thingy in Unity. I'm the writer, and have enjoyed using Twine previously to build some little interactive fiction thingies - so he's made a 'thing' (technical term :D) whereby I can write the dialogue branches for our game in Twine, save the source code, and it parses directly into our game in Unity. He's made a video showing it off:

I sent five indie dev friends three stupid statements that frequently crop up in the gaming industry, and let them comment on them; F2P can't be high quality, videogames can't be art, and the PC games industry is dying. Hopefully it's an enjoying read, and you'll learn about some new indie games / studios while you're at it :)
