It is not known for sure but it is my opinion that the new Sacred Sunday (TM) community will completely replace the Sacred Sunday(TM) hashtag based photography theme.  We will keep the page as a way to share images and to provide information to the community but we urge you to join the new community.

Dear friends of #SacredSunday: even the most strenuous curators need a break here and then, and now it's our turn. The curators of Sacred Sunday are going on holiday, recharge their batteries, do some photographic and other work, or just relax.  

Since we will be guests of our own theme, there will be no new Thank You circle for at least two weeks. Stay tuned, have a great time, see you soon!

This is a special edition of the Sacred Sunday circle. The people included in this circle are people that have plused, commented on, or posted images to Sacred Sunday more than 4 times in the last 2 months. Our friend and co-curator, +Bill Wood is not feeling well today. We wish him a speedy recovery and expect that he'll be back with us next week. In the short time Bill has been with the theme, he has become our friend and the friend of many of the people that share with us each week.

As usual, we will try to visit all posts that have been addressed to us, the curators. Sometimes that means not responding until Monday or Tuesday. Have a great Sunday and I hope it's warmer where you are than it is here in Switzerland.

Just a reminder that it's time again for Sacred Sunday. We ask that you add, "curated by +Bill Wood +Manfred Berndtgen and +Charles Lupica" to your posts if you would like us to interact with you.

This weekly photography theme encourages you to share with us and the G+ community what you hold sacred. People praying, temples and churches are great choices; but we also encourage you to share your personal sense of what is sacred, be it a mountain, a sunset, or a loaf of bread. More than anything, Sacred Sunday is about sharing.

We promote no religion over any other and invite you to share with us what you hold sacred.

It's Sunday once again and time to remind everyone that today is #SacredSunday, curated by +Sumit Sen and +Charles Lupica

This is the new G+ page for Sacred Sunday so we ask that you add it to your circles.

Just a reminder: Please plus all of the images that you enjoy and comment as often as you can. Pluses and comments help to increase the search rank of your favorite images.

BTW: I always look for the images that say curated by ... I later go back and look for images that don't mention a curator. Sumit and I try to comment on every contribution but sometimes a few get through without us adding a comment.
