Well the year is winding down... and I only have a couple of days at the day job left and then ...Well the year is winding down... and I only have a couple of days at the day job left and then I'll be traveling to the Tampa, Florida area for the holidays and will not be on here as much.
Before I leave, I wanted to take a quick chance to share a circle of very special folks.
These are the people I've listed as part of the Public Circles project on my profile page this year. https://plus.google.com/?tab=XX#111112809838472063992/about
The Public Circles Project gives you a chance to share the names of those folks who make G+ special to you. A lot more deserve to be here, but I haven't had time to add more yet.
Here is why I picked them (I think in order of listing)
+Ian Ference - his abandonment photography caught my eye and his photos tend to have a tension. He's also approachable and inspires me to think way outside the box. He made me go "Wow, there is some great stuff on G+"
+Steve Johnson - his emerging photographers circles were the first place I think I was ever listed and also provided a great resource when I started to fill my stream with differnt types of photography from people that are not "name brands". I love reading his blog and his style of BW photography is spectactular.
+Evelyn Lamprey - I always love Evelyn's work and it is always so well executed! When she found out about my interest in transportation, she shared some cool shots of steamboats from her home area. She is multi-talented and a very good follow, besides being one of the nice people one here.
+Lizzie Keitel - she shares some great shots of my "home" in Southern California (where I lived until I was 19) and she is also very interactive. I always look forward to a comment from her in my stream. She encouraged me a lot back when I was starting #TransportTuesday.
+Donna Jordan - I think it was her "haunted house" shot that I saw way back when that attracted me to her photography. She is a great person and was the first person who I really felt deserved more exposure for her stuff. (I still do)
+Louisa Catharine Forsyth - One of the nicest people I've met on here and one I am really glad that I've become friends with. I always look forward to her submissions to my themes and anything else she posts because of her unique talents in combining words and images.
+Sandra Parlow - I think she'll always be "Queen of the Moose" for me now, but beyond that she is a very genuine person who can always be counted on for a witty comeback,
